Mammals of Europe
Due in part to the greater population of humans concentrated in a smaller geographic space, the mammals in Europe tend to be smaller. There are a great deal of rodents, such as mice and rats, and a number of weasel and vole species. However, there are also wild horses in Europe. As for carnivores, or meat eaters, Europe has wolves and lynxes.
